Thrilling Journey of 19 Editions of Hail International Rally

Over the past two decades, beginning in 2006, the vision of Prince Saud bin Abdulmohsen bin Abdulaziz, then governor of Hail Region, brought to life what is now Saudi Arabia’s most renowned rally.

In collaboration with the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation, the inaugural Hail Rally emerged from the heart of the Hail desert, navigating diverse terrains, including dense dunes and rugged landscapes.

This landmark event established Saudi Arabia’s prominence in global car and motorcycle racing and fostered skill development among local and international competitors.

The Hail International Rally has evolved year after year to become one of the Middle East’s most significant sporting events. Known for its intense competition, the rally’s challenging routes and diverse stages highlight the unique desert terrain of the Hail Region.

This evolution has heightened excitement, and rivalry among competitors in both car and motorcycle categories. Over the years, the rally has honed athletes’ skills, celebrated numerous local and international champions, and captured the attention of media outlets worldwide.

The Hail Toyota International Rally 2025 marks the 20th edition and serves as the opening round of the FIA World Cup for Cross-Country Bajas, the inaugural round of the FIA Middle East Baja Cup, the opening stage of the Saudi Toyota Desert Rally Championship, and the first round of the Cross-Country Bajas World Cup for motorcycles.

Under the patronage of Governor of Hail Region Prince Abdulaziz bin Saad bin Abdulaziz and his deputy, the rally continues its legacy as a globally recognized and dynamic event.
