Saudi Science Team Wins 3 Awards at International Junior Science Olympiad in Thailand

The Saudi science team participating in the 2023 International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO) today won three international awards among students from 55 countries.

The competitions, held in Bangkok, Thailand's capital, took place from December 1 to 10.

Representing the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia were the King Abdulaziz and his Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity 'Mawhiba' and the Ministry of Education.

Among the winners were Hussein Habib Al-Saleh, who clinched a silver medal, and Suha Suleiman Al-Salama and Reda Emad Al-Khalaf, both awarded bronze medals.

This achievement adds to the Saudi science team's impressive medal tally, now totaling thirty: one gold, six silver, and twenty-three bronze.
