Saudi Arabia's First Athlete to Attend World Winter Games in Beijing Olympics

Faiq Abidi, making his and his country Saudi Arabia's first debut as national team member to attend world winter games has concluded his participation in the 24th Winter Olympics Beijing is hosting till February 20.

During the tournament, Abidi ranked 44th out of 89 in the Alpine Skiing scoring a time of 2:46:85 minutes.

Saudi participation in this international winter Olympics is also the first of its kind in the history of the Arab Gulf region.
