2023 Saudi Games Torch Arrives in NEOM

The torch for the 2nd edition of the 2023 Saudi Games arrived today in NEOM as part of the promotional campaign for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s largest sports event, which will be held in Riyadh from November 26 to December 10.

 Amid massive celebratory atmosphere of the NEOM Beach Games, NEOM sport sector chief Jan Paterson was handed the torch which was then passed on to former footballer Saud Al-Khaibari and female cyclist Mashael Alhazmi.

 Starting from Riyadh, the torch for the 2023 Saudi Games has begun a nationwide journey to express the spirit of the games, including the values of friendship and humanity, to promote a message of peace, love, and optimism to encourage citizens and residents to participate in the event.

 More than 8,000 athletes from over 200 Saudi clubs will participate in the Kingdom’s largest ever sports event and will compete in 53 events, six of which are Paralympic, and 12 are youth sports.
