IMCTC Launches ‘Collection Management’ Program to Boost Counterterrorism Efforts

The Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC) launched a specialized training program today at its headquarters in Riyadh titled “Collection Management,” as part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s initiatives to support and build the capacities of nominees from coalition member states, in line with its efforts to enhance integration and cooperation in the fight against terrorism.

The program targets 25 nominees from 14 IMCTC member states, focusing on equipping them with theoretical knowledge and practical skills in managing collection operations, analyzing data, and utilizing that data to support decision-makers in counterterrorism and anti-extremism efforts.

The five-day program is conducted under the supervision of military and information experts and includes training sessions, simulation exercises, and interactive workshops aimed at enhancing institutional readiness and capacity among participating countries to address contemporary security challenges.

This training is part of a broader series of IMCTC initiatives and specialized programs, which now exceed 46 training and professional programs across various fields of counterterrorism, including ideology, combating terrorism financing, military coordination, and media engagement.
