Health Minister Stresses Efficiency of COVID-19 Vaccines in Reducing Hospital Admission

Minister of Health Fahad Al-Jalajel stressed that COVID-19 vaccine has proven efficiency in reducing symptoms resulting from contracting the COVID-19 virus and its benefits in reducing the number of cases admitted to hospitals and alleviating pressure on hospitals.

He noted that worry now is for categories that have not completed their doses, where the majority of people in ICUs are those who are not fully immunized.

The minister noted that the ministry is currently observing an increase in the number of infections of the virus, as it also expects the numbers to further increase over the next few days, wishing safety for the people.
