SASO Signs MoU with China's SAMR to Enhance Regulatory Cooperation

The Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) of the People's Republic of China at its headquarters in Riyadh to enhance cooperation in conformity assessment and harmonize technical regulations.

This initiative underscores SASO’s commitment to strengthening international cooperation and expanding partnerships.

The MoU with SAMR facilitates information exchange, joint training programs, coordination in international organizations, and specialist visits.

It also aims to implement collaborative projects to improve the conformity assessment system and reduce trade barriers.
